I understand and agree to the following:
(1) Environmental Energy Association is a nonprofit corporation formed to promote the development and use of environmentally sustainable energy and related technologies through, among other means, education, advocacy, and the support of candidates for public office. Our goal is to give a unified voice to those seeking to affect positive change by supporting the transition to environmentally sustainable energies. Environmental Energy Association is seeking tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(4). This means that contributions are not tax-deductible, except where qualified as a business expense. This contribution is not tax-deductible.
(2) For a number of reasons, our memberships are non-voting. This doesn’t mean that we don’t listen or care what our members think. Nor does that mean members have no effect on the actions or direction of the organization. We want/need your input. It is always appreciated and will be sought regularly.
